Join us as the Vice President of Tax at Canada Goose, where you'll spearhead global tax planning and compliance in a dynamic, diverse, and inclusive environment. Reporting directly to the CFO and collaborating with the Executive Team and Audit Committee, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our tax strategy, driving shareholder value, and simplifying our organization's operations.

In this role, you'll lead an evolving, self-sufficient team, fostering a culture of growth and development. From tax planning and budgeting to team development and business expansion, you'll be at the forefront of our global tax initiatives, ensuring compliance with international regulations and minimizing unnecessary costs.

What You’ll Do :

• Crafting and implementing an integrated global tax structure, considering accounting, foreign tax implications, and business impacts.
• Developing and nurturing an internal tax team to keep pace with our global growth.
• Collaborating on business development initiatives, ensuring tax efficiency for acquisitions, joint ventures, and new ventures.
• Overseeing global tax compliance and transfer pricing, with a focus on key jurisdictions worldwide.
• Managing employee taxation matters, including relocation and executive compensation.
• Leading all tax inquiries and stakeholder engagements with confidence and integrity.
• Staying abreast of tax legislation changes to ensure organizational compliance and competitiveness.

About you :

• A solid educational background with a CA or CPA designation, complemented by extensive tax experience.
• Experience in Big 4 accounting firms and global, publicly traded companies.
• Proficiency in consolidated tax reporting under IFRS and knowledge of international tax regimes.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence senior management.
• Integrity, superior communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
• Resilience, adaptability, and a passion for driving growth in an entrepreneurial environment.
