TekRek, an early-stage health technology company, seeks its most senior technical seat to set architectural direction and stay hands-on coding as the team grows. You will work directly with the Co-Founder & CEO, translating product strategy into robust engineering practice and scalable systems.
You will partner with clinical leadership to build AI-powered infrastructure, solutioning for multiple lines and jurisdictions, and shape the engineering culture from the ground up.
This is a early-stage health technology company building clinical infrastructure that helps licensed providers deliver specialist-level care at scale. The platform combines LLM-powered clinical intelligence with patient- and provider-facing applications, and the company works directly with employers to expand access to high-quality specialty care. The team has moved quickly since launch, shipping across web and mobile, and is entering a new growth phase.
This is the most senior technical seat in the company, reporting directly to the Co-Founder & CEO, and it's built for someone who wants to build, not just manage. You'll set technical direction, make foundational architecture calls, and stay hands-on writing production code while the engineering organization is still taking shape. Over time, the scope of this role is expected to grow into the company's top technical leadership position. The right person treats this as company-building rather than just a job: comfortable with ambiguity, quick to ship, and just as focused on architecture as execution.
This is a rare chance to be the founding technical hire at a company solving a genuinely hard problem in healthcare access, with real influence over both the architecture and the direction of the business. You'll work in close partnership with the founders, build the engineering team from scratch, and have a direct hand in shaping what "great engineering" looks like as the company scales. For someone who wants ownership over building something rather than inheriting a system, this is that kind of seat.
