Role Overview:
As the VP of Marketing, you will own the company’s marketing strategy and execution, working closely with the executive team to position Velixo as the category leader. You will be responsible for building and leading a high-performance marketing team, optimizing the customer acquisition funnel, and fueling revenue growth through data-driven marketing programs. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, executional excellence, and leadership to scale the company’s marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy: Define and implement a results-driven marketing plan aligned with business objectives, including brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention.
  2. Demand Generation & Growth Marketing: Lead inbound and outbound marketing campaigns to drive pipeline growth, leveraging SEO, SEM, paid media, email marketing, and content strategy.
  3. Brand & Product Positioning: Craft compelling messaging and positioning to differentiate Velixo in the market and enhance its brand presence.
  4. Content & Thought Leadership: Oversee content marketing efforts, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and social media to educate and engage prospects.
  5. Go-To-Market Strategy: Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to refine go-to-market strategies for new product launches, market expansion, and customer engagement.
  6. Marketing Operations & Analytics: Implement data-driven marketing analytics to measure campaign effectiveness, optimize conversion rates, and track key KPIs such as CAC, LTV, and ROI.
  7. Partnership & Community Engagement: Identify and manage partnerships, sponsorships, and influencer collaborations to expand market reach.
  8. Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a world-class marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and high performance.
Qualifications:
  1. 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with at least 3+ years in a Head of Marketing or VP of Marketing role.
  2. Proven track record of driving demand generation, pipeline growth, and revenue impact in a high-growth environment.
  3. Expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, brand positioning, and performance marketing.
  4. Strong analytical skills with experience using marketing automation, HubSpot, and data analytics platforms.
  5. Deep understanding of direct customer and partnership marketing strategies.
  6. Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to hire, mentor, and scale a marketing team.
  7. Experience in launching new products and executing go-to-market strategies.
  8. Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into compelling messages.
  9. Startup experience preferred; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
