Prowind GmbH, a global renewable energy developer, seeks an experienced VP for Land Acquisitions to lead the Canada growth. Based in Woodstock, ON, you will guide the development strategy, build the Canadian team, and secure wind, solar, and storage opportunities across regulatory landscapes.

You will evaluate project economics, manage stakeholder relations, and influence policy trends while traveling as needed. A strong English background and German asset are valued.

Qualifikationen

• Senior leadership experience in renewable energy development or related industry
• Proven experience in project development, preferably in wind energy with regulatory knowledge
• Experience in financial evaluation of development projects
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• University degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, Finance, or related field
• Fluency in English for business communication and stakeholder management
• German language skills would be an asset
• Willingness to travel

• Lead the development strategy for renewable energy projects in Canada and support growth of Prowind’s Canadian business
• Manage and develop the Canadian team (approx. 5 people)
• Identify and secure new renewable energy project opportunities and advance wind, solar, and battery storage projects through development, including permitting and land acquisition
• Conduct financial evaluations of project opportunities and review project economics and risks
• Build and maintain relationships with landowners, communities, consultants, and development partners
• Represent Prowind in discussions with stakeholders, regulators, and industry partners
• Monitor policy developments and market trends affecting renewable energy in Canada
