Job description

The Vice President of Human Resources & Communications will serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, driving human capital strategies that support the company's vision, mission, and objectives. This role is responsible for overseeing HR functions across the U.S. and Europe, ensuring alignment with the company’s values and business goals while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This leader is also responsible for shaping our brand narrative, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and ensuring consistent BMT messaging across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HR leadership, particularly in a global, multi-site medical device or manufacturing organization, and possess deep expertise in talent management, organizational development, and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive global HR strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives.
  2. Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on organizational design, leadership development, and workforce planning.
  3. Lead efforts to shape and sustain a high-performance culture centered on innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  4. Close partnerships with HR leaders across Bracco’s global network.
Global Talent Management
  1. In partnership with the Talent Management team of Bracco N. America, design and implement talent acquisition, retention, and development programs to attract and grow top talent globally.
  2. Oversee succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
  3. Execute robust performance management systems that drive accountability and employee engagement.
HR Operations & Compliance
  1. Ensure global HR operations, policies, and practices are compliant with local labor laws, particularly in the U.S. and Europe.
  2. Partner with Bracco’s N. America Total Rewards team to support all payroll, benefits, and compensation programs to ensure market competitiveness and alignment with company objectives.
  3. Leverage HR technology to streamline operations and enhance the employee experience.
Employee Relations & Change Management
  1. Provide guidance and leadership on complex employee relations matters, ensuring consistency and fairness.
  2. Act as a point of escalation for sensitive issues, facilitating resolution in alignment with company values.
  3. Lead HR aspects of organizational change, including mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring, ensuring smooth transitions and employee engagement.
  4. Drive communication strategies that align employees with the company’s mission during periods of change.
Europe Operations Oversight
  1. Partner with regional HR leaders in Europe to ensure alignment with global HR initiatives while addressing region-specific needs.
  2. Stay informed on European labor trends and provide recommendations to executive leadership regarding workforce planning.
Communications Leadership
  1. Oversee corporate branding and ensure cohesive messaging across all external and internal communication channels.
  2. Develop and implement crisis communication plans, ensuring rapid and effective response to critical issues.
  3. Drive internal communication strategies to foster engagement, transparency, and alignment with corporate objectives.
  4. Partner with marketing team to help manage digital presence, including corporate website, social media, and digital marketing efforts.
  5. Lead the creation of high-quality content, speeches, presentations, and reports.
  6. Track communication effectiveness through KPIs and deliver regular performance insights to the executive team.
