Description

An exciting opportunity awaits a senior leader passionate about driving business outcomes through industry-leading people practices. The Vice President, Human Capital Development Lifecycle at TELUS will lead the evolution of the talent lifecycle by partnering across P&C to embed AI, digital innovation, and advanced predictive analytics into People & Culture strategies.

We seek an inspiring leader with deep experience to enable a high-performance culture, innovating and digitizing talent management processes with a focus on effectiveness, efficiency, and putting team members and customers at the center of design.

Role Overview

Reporting to the CHRO and EVP of People & Culture, the VP will drive an elevated team member and leader experience across talent acquisition, development, learning, and diversity initiatives, powered by data insights and automation. The VP will shape products and processes to enable the full talent lifecycle, collaborating across the organization to execute the vision.

Key competencies include strategic, innovative, and inspirational leadership capable of articulating a compelling vision and executing enterprise-wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion transformation of talent development streams: design transformation roadmap for attraction, recruitment, learning, performance, and career development.
  • Enable strategic workforce planning: collaborate to anticipate talent needs, shape future roles, and develop succession strategies.
  • Sustain and grow an inclusive culture: promote practices that foster belonging and connection as technology reshapes work.
  • Enhance talent attraction and recruitment: develop data-informed, skills-based strategies to attract diverse, high-potential talent.
  • Innovate learning and leadership development: advance personalized, digital learning experiences to accelerate growth and leadership readiness.
