Ideally this role is based out of our North Vancouver office.

The Brand Creative team is hands on and iterative; building creative with the same passion embodied in our product creation. Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters, Photographers, Filmmakers, Architects, and Craftspeople represent a wide spectrum of skills to be deployed. The team is comfortable behind the pen and on an exposed ridgeline.

  • Setting the creative vision for the brand, reflecting our distinct brand ethos and creative identity, establishing the global benchmark for how Arc'teryx comes to life across all consumer touchpoints. Leading and inspiring our in-house brand creative team and aligning the team around shared objectives.
  • Overseeing the evolution of our brand's visual identity, ensuring creative work consistently represents our values and maintains the integrity of that identity across all initiatives and campaigns.
  • Developing disruptive, cut‑through and highly relevant global brand campaigns and 360 initiatives that bring the brand to life in a deeply authentic manner, for a diverse range of consumers.
  • Championing executive‑level creative strategy encompassing brand, and product storytelling, building conviction and inspiring key stakeholders at key brand and business milestones.
  • Owning the in‑house creative production pipeline — photography, film, and digital content — from concept through delivery, ensuring output is both craft‑driven and efficient at scale
Driving the continual evolution of the brand’s content and operating system to keep pace with consumer behavior, digital developments. Partnering with operational peers to build a robust global x regional creative and content model to support local consumer needs.
  • Building a culture of belonging within the brand creative function, embedding Arc'teryx values into every aspect of brand strategy.
  • Establishing a collaborative operating rhythm within the Brand Leadership team and cross‑functionally across the company with channel, regional and functional leaders.
  • Defining, refining, and measuring the success of creative campaigns in lockstep with brand strategy, connecting creative excellence to brand health and commercial outcomes.
  • Pioneering the use of AI and emerging creative technologies to accelerate content production while elevating craft and storytelling quality.
  • Expanding the creative function's remit into new formats and platforms as guest engagement shifts — immersive, experiential, and emerging digital channels.
  • You have a degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field, and 15+ years of experience in a communications or creative leadership role within a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
  • You have a strong portfolio demonstrating creative leadership across global brand campaigns, art direction, and visual storytelling.
  • You have a deep respect for the outdoor and mountain environment and culture.
  • You have led global and regional creative teams in supporting a DTC oriented business.
  • You have extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and associated design tools, with strong depth of experience across art direction, photography, film, graphic design, architecture, and digital UX.
  • You set a clear vision, align your team around common objectives, and foster commitment to deliver.
  • You are an inspiring leader who keeps your team focused and motivated, while removing barriers and seeking clarity.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, facilitation, and diplomacy, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of stakeholders.
  • You bring sound judgment to prioritizing competing demands across a complex, fast‑moving creative organization.
  • You are proactive in identifying root causes and developing solutions, remaining flexible and adaptable in the face of ambiguity.
  • You balance autonomy and collaboration, and know when each is needed.
