What is the opportunity?

As a Vice President, FX Payments Product Manager in RBC Clear, you will be responsible for devising, supporting, and driving the FX Payments strategy and associated roadmap in a startup environment. You will be an integral member of the broader FX Product team, acting as the voice of the customer in product and workflow design. Your role involves guiding the successful launch of FX products, gathering feedback, and ensuring a top-tier client experience.

What will you do?

  • Contribute to establishing the vision and roadmap for RBC Clear payment products, including FX/Cross-currency functionality.
  • Align strategy with organizational and departmental goals, focusing on client experience and needs.
  • Represent the voice of the client in product and workflow design, collecting stakeholder feedback on future features.
  • Evaluate external partnership opportunities to expand the payment rails/markets available to customers.
  • Participate in client discussions and solutions related to FX payment products.
  • Collaborate with cross-divisional teams such as operations, finance, legal, compliance, and risk to develop and launch products.
  • Manage and develop the product backlog to support the FX product's strategic roadmap and value proposition.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Undergraduate Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or related domain.
  • Proven experience in building FX payment networks and ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of global real-time and emerging payment schemes.
  • Understanding of large corporate and emerging payment use cases.
  • Technical understanding of system dependencies.
  • Client-centric and innovative approach in product design.
  • Ability to work well with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Startup mindset: adaptable to quick changes and ambiguity.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proactive and results-oriented attitude.
