The base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.As a candidate, you are encouraged to ask compensation related questions and have an open dialogue with your recruiter who can provide you more specific details for this role.Job Description:Individual Role Accountabilities and Decision Authorities / Breadth, Depth & Scope: Represents the bank's second line of defense, setting standards and challenging the first line on Third Party Risk.Responsible for delivering milestones on Third Party Risk roadmap.Leads risk reporting and supports Board-level reporting on Third Party Risk, including metrics and results.Oversees and escalates risks in the third party risk management program, ensuring alignment with risk appetite.Manages third party risk reporting, monitoring, and remediation.Acts as a senior representative for Enterprise Crisis Management (ECM) and Operational Resilience, challenging risk practices and reporting assessments.Leads ECM and Operational Resilience reporting for the Board, including risk metrics and decisions.Manages enterprise crisis protocols and collaborates on incident response exercises.Reviews and reports on incidents to Senior Management and Risk organization.Develop and implement a comprehensive Operational Resiliency training program for all levels of the organization to ensure awareness and readiness.Establish and maintain an inventory of Board approved critical business functions and associated dependencies to support resilience planning.Coordinate and lead regular operational resilience testing and simulations to ensure preparedness.Engage with external stakeholders, including suppliers and partners, to assess and enhance their operational resilienc e capabilities.Monitor and report on key operational resilience metrics and indicators, providing insights and recommendations to senior management and the Board.Ensure alignment of operational resilience strategies with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Foster a culture of continuous improvement in operational resilience by identifying and implementing lessons learned from incidents and near-misses.Manages talent, sets goals, develops staff, and handles performance and compensation decisions.Shared Responsibilities / Decision Authorities:Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and regulatorsManagement of Framework and standards for Oversight and challenge of Third Party Risk.Partner with other risk and control groups to ensure collaboration, understanding, engagement and strong control environmentTalent management/people development (acquisition/retention/succession)Develop and build TD's brand and external reputationSkills, Education & Experience:Firm knowledge of Third-Party Risk Management and/or Operational Risk Management Principles and PracticesKnowledge of the regulatory environment and requirementsStrong ability to build relationships with 1st line of defense business partners and provide challenge and push back as neededProven ability to manage effectively in a highly matrixed environmentSkillful communicator and influencer to build relationships, advance decision making, and effect change over timeStrong coach and developer of people with a demonstrated track record in talent managementHighly motivated individual with a track record successfully implementing large scale globally sourced programs with super
