If so, come join us and help redefine the Canadian banking landscape!Accountabilites:Managing and supporting Tangerine Bank's vendor management and is accountable for:Manage all aspects of the vendor relationship which includes vendor onboarding/ offboarding, regular contract lifecycle management, project management, issue, and SLA (service level agreement) management Develop strong relationships with Tangerine Risk Owners, acting as the first line third party risk advisor and serving as the primary conduit between the Risk Owners and the Second Line of Defense.Assist contract owners in completing vendor onboarding, third-party contract risk assessments and due diligence activities to mitigate third party riskResponsible for assessing, monitoring and mitigating risks associated with third-party vendorsEnsure all external service providers comply with the Global Third-Party Risk Management policies and frameworks ensuring consistency across the Tangerine business units and third-party vendorsProvide program and governance reporting to senior management and respective committeesContinuously identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and enhancements of risk identification and management policies and processes, focusing on third party risk and vendor management Champions a customer focused culture to support Tangerine's organizational strategy and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. What You'll Bring?Previous people manager experience and experience with Technology vendors is an assetStrong knowledge of operational risk, regulations (OSFI Guidelines E-21, E-13, B-10), and internal policies & procedures impacting banking operations.Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills to rapidly assess problem situations.Demonstrates creativity and adaptability when identifying solutions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate on a broad spectrum (from deep technical discussions to high level executive vision).Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and relationships management skills.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives.Demonstrates proactivity and accountability.Thorough knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and WordUniversity degree or equivalent with at least 5 years experience in financial services.
