Amp is a global clean energy developer on a mission to accelerate the energy transition, and we are thrilled to support their search for an experienced and capable Vice President, Finance. As the company evolves into a leaner, faster, more digitally enabled platform, they're seeking a strategically minded, hands-on leader to modernize the finance function during a pivotal period of growth.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP Finance will own all core financial operations – reporting, controls, tax, treasury, systems – and be a key strategic partner to leadership across the company, including AMP Z, the organization's fast-scaling digital infrastructure platform.

What You’ll Lead

Core Finance Operations

Oversee full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and IFRS-based reporting

Drive improvements to processes and internal controls

Manage audit prep, compliance, and risk management

Treasury

Lead liquidity forecasting, cash flow management, and covenant compliance

Enhance treasury function and working capital strategies

Support hedging and banking relationships

Financial Planning & Strategic Support

Partner with corporate leaders to improve forecasting accuracy

Establish and track KPIs, deliver trend and variance analysis

Align financial reporting with business goals and investor expectations

Team & Technology Leadership

Assess and elevate internal team capabilities

Design the finance org structure and implement finance systems strategy

Automate key processes to increase speed and accuracy

What Success Looks Like

By 3 Months :

Deep understanding of the business and financial objectives

Hands-on involvement in the close process and liquidity forecasting

Review and improvement of internal controls underway

By 1 Year :

Strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

External audits completed successfully

SOPs and streamlined reporting processes in place

Finance team operating with increased efficiency and clarity

You’ll Thrive Here If You Have :

10+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in energy or PE-backed firms

A CPA designation and hands-on expertise with full-cycle accounting

Experience with international operations, Netsuite, and Excel (intermediate+)

A builder’s mindset, strong leadership instincts, and a sharp eye for scalable solutions

A bias toward action and the ability to thrive in ambiguity
