Job description

Our client is established Canadian plant-based protein company, who is looking for a VP of Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the annual financial budgeting and forecasting process, along with the 5 yr long term strategy
• Manage and own the ERP system and evaluation
• Collaborate with internal teams on recommendations, ad hoc analysis and commentary for senior leadership
• Own the day to day accounting operations and financial reporting functions
• Provide strategic insights to the CEO and executive team on risks & opportunities
• Partner with CEO to provide updates of the business to the Board of Directors

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. MBA /CPA is an asset
• 8-10+ years of overseeing finances of an organization
• Experience in practicing IFRS and preparing financial statements
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams. Team focused
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional leaders and drive business results.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills. A natural problem solver
