We are seeking a results-driven and technically skilled Vice President of E-Commerce to lead our digital commerce strategy and execution. This senior leadership role requires a professional with expertise in programming, Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, SEO, database architecture, and web development practices. The ideal candidate is comfortable writing code, leading teams, optimizing UX, and driving revenue growth through digital solutions.

Responsibilities

1. E-Commerce Strategy & Leadership
2. Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce roadmap aligned with business goals.
3. Oversee platform development, site performance, user experience, and marketing integrations.
4. Manage the entire e-commerce ecosystem including frontend, backend, and third-party apps.
5. Platform & Development Oversight
6. Lead design, development, and maintenance of online stores on Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.
7. Oversee custom development using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, and APIs.
8. Ensure scalable and secure architecture.
9. Technical Leadership
10. Manage developers and vendors to deliver quality code and releases.
11. Maintain well-documented codebases from ideation to deployment.
12. Ensure database management and system integration.
13. Conversion & SEO Optimization
14. Lead SEO, performance optimization, A/B testing, and CRO efforts.
15. Collaborate with marketing and design teams on campaigns and tracking.
16. Use tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush to measure and improve strategies.
17. Operations & Performance
18. Monitor KPIs such as traffic, conversion rate, and customer retention.
19. Implement automation, personalization, and AI tools to enhance customer experience.
20. Ensure uptime, data integrity, and fast load speeds.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field, 8-10 years in e-commerce/web development, leadership experience, and expertise in Shopify Plus, WooCommerce, Magento, and relevant programming skills.

Preferred

• Experience with headless commerce, JAMstack, international e-commerce, and multi-language/multi-currency sites.
