Job description

STEMCELL Technologies is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and collaborative leader with a proven history of success to drive digital engagement and conversion on a global scale. The Vice President, Digital Marketing is accountable for directing, planning, and overseeing the day to day and long term digital strategy for marketing and sales. This is a highly visible leadership role that recognizes the advantages and power of technology in STEMCELL’s future success. You will own the digital marketing strategy from website interaction to lead closure and relentlessly optimize for scale, efficiency and impact, developing robust digital initiatives to drive growth, innovation, and competitive advantage focused on maintaining STEMCELL’s position as a global leader in the life sciences.

As the ideal candidate, you will understand the role of an evolving technological landscape in global marketing, understanding how to leverage automation and AI to drive engagement and ultimately converting engagement to revenue. You will work cross functionally and as an agent of change, influencing and partnering closely with IT, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support to drive online presence and engagement to align our digital strategy with business objectives and achieve business goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement both short- and long-term strategic plans that align with Departmental and Corporate objectives
  • Set and achieve departmental goals created in partnership with STEMCELL’s Executive team and key business stakeholders, and translate these goals into actionable and measurable programs and projects
  • Develop deep relationships cross functionally to accelerate implementation and optimization of new technologies and systems
  • Assist with planning and managing budget and act as project sponsor for selected corporate projects
  • Assess and evaluate training requirements of departmental employees and ensure training and developmental needs are met (with a lens toward technological innovation)
  • Provide effective leadership, management, mentoring, development, and evaluation of direct reports through regular one-on-one and team meetings and performance reviews
  • Monitor the changing technology landscape and constantly experiment with new technologies

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of Digital Marketing and Digital Sales principles, practices, and methodologies with a focus on lead generation, conversion, and revenue generation
  • Demonstrated track record of success (at least 10 years) in related senior leadership role with previous experience developing and implementing successful strategic plans
  • Expert understanding of the global life sciences market with a willingness to challenge traditional processes and adapt innovative strategies (such as AI) to drive efficiencies and resolve problems of scale
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal, management and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders and leaders

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:

$201,500.00 – $335,900.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
