Job summary

The Citco Group Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist in Toronto to lead data, reporting and platform changes across private assets. You will partner with IT, Transformation Office and Operations to deliver end-to-end changes, from requirements through testing to adoption.

The role emphasizes data quality, large-scale analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with global teams. A bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in private assets are expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver data, reporting and platform change from requirement definition through testing to deployment.
• Define and document Operations’ data and reporting requirements with IT and Transformation Office.
• Support platform change through build and own the Operations-side test strategy (UAT & defects).
• Build data and reporting outputs to evidence problems and measure benefits.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues at the source.
• Support implementation of platform changes across fund structures and new client setups.
• Collaborate with Operating Model, Product & Client Solutions and Digital Workflow focus areas.
• Work with Operations teams to ensure change is understood and adopted.
• Produce project documentation, status reporting and ad hoc analysis.

About The Team & Business Line

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

Strategic Operations is a dedicated function within Private Assets. It brings transformation delivery, project execution, business analysis, operational initiatives and implementation support into one team, reducing the delivery burden on BAU Operations and maintaining ownership from design through adoption.

The group will be split across three distinct focus areas, aligned under two individual leaders:

Operating Model, Product & Client Solutions: led by the Operating Model & Product leader, this area will define how services should run end to end, shape scalable products and solutions, support complex client implementations, and ensure client commitments are operationally deliverable.

Data, Reporting & Platform Enablement: led by the Technology, Data & Delivery leader, this area will define Operations requirements for data, reporting and platforms, strengthen data quality and lineage, and carry solutions through testing, deployment and adoption.

Digital Workflow, Automation & AI: also led by the Technology, Data & Delivery leader, this area will identify and deliver workflow, automation and AI opportunities, establish appropriate controls, and measure whether the expected benefits are realised.

The group works in close partnership with Operations, the Transformation Office, IT, Tactical Operations and Marquee Client teams. Roles may be permanent or approximately 12-month rotational assignments anchored in strategic locations. Rotational colleagues will join from the business, help shape and deliver change, and return to the line with broader project experience.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• You will deliver data, reporting and platform change from requirement definition through testing to deployment and adoption.
• Define and document Operations’ data and reporting requirements, and agree them with IT and the Transformation Office.
• Support platform change through build, and own the Operations-side test strategy including UAT and defect resolution.
• Build the data and reporting outputs needed to evidence a problem and measure the benefit of a change.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues, tracing them to source rather than correcting downstream.
• Support implementation of platform change across fund structures, new client setups and transitions.
• Work with the Operating Model, Product & Client Solutions and Digital Workflow, Automation & AI focus areas where delivery depends on data or reporting capability.
• Work directly with Operations teams to make sure change is understood, trained out and genuinely adopted.
• Produce project documentation, status reporting and ad hoc analysis as required.

Qualifications

About You:

• You have 8+ years’ experience in private assets accounting or operations, with hands‑on exposure to data, reporting or platform work.
• Hands-on experience of reporting build, data analysis, system implementation or project delivery.
• Strong technical knowledge of private assets processes and the data that underpins them.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interrogate large data sets and evidence a recommendation.
• Project management skills with attention to detail and a proven ability to multi-task.
• Confident engaging both operational teams and technology partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel); familiarity with reporting, workflow or automation tooling an advantage.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; professional accounting designation is preferred.

Salary Range: CAD $130,000-$165,000
