Vice President, Corporate Banking FIG Insurance

Overview

The Vice President will work within the Corporate Banking – Global Financial Institutions Group – Insurance Team, supporting both Portfolio Management and Relationship Management roles. The team has a global platform with a growing presence in the U.S. and a strong, stable presence in Canada.

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare credit documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Manage a diverse portfolio of Insurance companies, increasing client responsibility over time.
  3. Monitor performance of existing accounts and client relationships.
  4. Provide deal structuring expertise and negotiate transactions.
  5. Conduct due diligence and credit analysis on clients, including industry trend analysis.
  6. Analyze transactions for risk and balance risk appetite with client needs.
  7. Guide and review work of Analysts and Associates.
  8. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and identify opportunities for efficiency.
  9. Build and maintain strong client relationships and collaborate with internal partners.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or accounting; MBA, CFA preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in the Insurance sector, including credit underwriting and client management.
  • Strong deal execution, analytical, and presentation skills.

Expected Salary: $150,000.00 CAD
