ACM Advisors Ltd. (“ ACM ”) provides fixed income investment solutions and commercial mortgage financing. Job Description :

Under the direction of the CEO, the VP – Client Relationships assists the Business Development Team with the execution of fund marketing strategies and capital raising for ACM. The Vice President – Client Relationships will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills who is eager to provide best-in-class client servicing.

Location : Toronto, 151 Yonge Street, Suite 1901, Toronto, ON, M5C 2W7

Key Responsibilities / Functions :

  • Implementation of all marketing and sales strategies for ACM funds;
  • Undertake research, update, and maintain ACM’s database of leads and contacts focusing on the Ontario market;
  • Aid in the development of marketing materials, in compliance with the requirements of the respective Securities Act(s);
  • In conjunction with the Business Development Team, respond to incoming requests for product information on a timely basis including formal RFPs;
  • Execute on a disciplined lead generation program involving targeted research, emails, phone calls, and follow-ups; and,
  • Provide in-person and remote presentations to prospects as required;
  • Implementation of all relationship management programs, including annual lunches and special events for clients;
  • In conjunction with the Client Servicing Team, track updates to client accounts and requests for servicing;
  • Assist the Client Servicing Team in the monthly subscription closing process including follow- up with clients for any missing information;
  • Deliver customized monthly, quarterly, and annual updates to investment advisors and other current clients as required; and,
  • Network at industry conferences.

What you bring to the team :

  • 5-10 years of experience preferred in a similar role or role with similar attributes in the investment management industry;
  • Bachelor of Commerce, or equivalent;
  • Completed Canadian Securities Course;
  • CFA charter holder or MBA is an asset;
  • First-rate interpersonal skills;
  • Sound knowledge of marketing and sales practices for financial products;
  • Must excel in a team environment;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Prior experience in commercial mortgages and with Microsoft Dynamics CRM are bonuses; and,
  • Must be willing to travel.
