Who you are?

We are hiring a Vice President, Client Experience and Operational Transformation. You will report to the Chief Client Officer and work directly with ASP’s executive team , leaders of teams across functions, and stakeholders across Purpose Unlimited. This is an exciting opportunity with one of Canada’s leading growth-focused FinTech organizations. The position will entail meaningful responsibility and autonomy, and the chosen candidate will play a critical role in strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • M&A Integration : You’ll be at the heart of integrating new businesses into our ecosystem, ensuring smooth transitions that don’t just meet expectations but exceed them.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership : Lead teams across product, tech, legal, compliance, marketing, and operations to align, execute, and celebrate success. Your ability to pull people together will be key as we integrate and grow the wealth business.
  • Data-Driven Success : Use data and feedback to continuously fine-tune our strategies, reporting, and oversight, and ensure we're delivering client experiences that turn clients into loyal advocates.
  • Innovation at Scale : Bring your creativity to the table, identifying new tools and technologies that solve complex client challenges, helping us stay ahead of the curve in delivering personalized wealth solutions.
  • Prioritization Mastery : Juggle multiple priorities and initiatives like a pro. Whether it's M&A integration or scaling a client experience initiative, you'll know how to focus on the right things at the right time.
  • Client Delight : Find ways to make the client experience not just good, but truly unforgettable. Surprising moments and personalized touches are your secret sauce.
  • Change Management : Lead our client experience change management agenda, ensuring timely delivery of key projects to improve scalability and risk management of our operations.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in business transformation, management consulting, or technology development roles with a strong focus on execution. The following criteria will be key in evaluating the person:

  • Minimum 5 years of building analytics, process design, and change management capabilities.
  • Exhibits exceptional problem-solving skills. You can develop solutions for Advisors and execute their delivery with precision.
  • Embraces technology and the role it plays in financial services. Specifically, you have the flexibility to navigate multiple applications simultaneously to deliver creative and unprecedented solutions
  • Thrives in Advisor-facing situations. At ASP, our Advisors’ success is our success, and we love the thrill of turning an Advisor’s frustration into a great experience
  • Has great analytical and prioritization skills. You know how to balance what needs to be done with what’s possible to do. You understand the scope of an issue and its priority
  • Experience working with stakeholders to define problems/opportunity statements, prioritize in ambiguous scenarios, lay out data-driven solutions, and identify features and requirements
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple & and easy-to-understand way for any audience (e.g., engineering, 3rd party vendors, operational teams, executive team)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with technology development.
  • Experience with BI Tools (eg, Power BI, Tableau, Sigma).
  • Experience with SQL, programming (including scripting /coding), Python, VBA, or application development.
  • Knowledge of wealth management/wealth operations.
