What is the Opportunity?

Reporting to the Director, Business Risk – Fraud, Operational and Cyber Risk, this role is vital in developing the RBC Clear Fraud Risk Management program, including enhancing Fraud Risk Mitigation strategies and Fraud Investigations processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with the RBC Clear Products/Channels team and BCS to identify fraud risks, develop and implement mitigation strategies, support the growth of the RBC Clear business, and lead the RBC Clear Fraud Operations team.

What will you do?

  1. Evaluate fraud risks related to new RBC Clear processes and products, recommending and implementing mitigation strategies.
  2. Oversee fraud monitoring and investigations, ensuring alerts are handled efficiently and according to procedures.
  3. Perform data analysis to improve fraud detection strategies.
  4. Innovate to optimize people, processes, and systems for fraud prevention.
  5. Maintain the RBC Clear Fraud Operations Framework and Procedures outlining structure, roles, responsibilities, and key processes.
  6. Support the implementation of projects, initiatives, and system enhancements impacting RBC Clear Fraud Operations.
  7. Develop operational reporting requirements to manage the team and assess the effectiveness of the fraud management program.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 7+ years’ experience in Fraud Risk Management
  • 5+ years’ experience in Fraud Investigations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to understand big picture and attention to detail
  • Influence and collaboration skills across diverse stakeholders
  • Problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach
