VICE PRESIDENT, ACERA INSURANCE BROKER NETWORK

Your knowledge and experience in leading and managing the growth of a healthy business, along with your ability to develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders, are essential for success in this role. As Vice President, you will oversee the overall health and growth of the Acera Insurance Broker Network (“AIBN”). This includes managing existing branch partner relationships, developing new ones, executing strategic initiatives for growth, and leading the corporate AIBN team. Collaboration with leaders and stakeholders across Acera Insurance will be vital in implementing strategies to support and expand the network.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  1. Developing and executing AIBN’s strategic growth plan; managing forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting; overseeing business operations.
  2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing branch partners and supporting their growth initiatives.
  3. Developing new business relationships with prospective branch partners to expand the network.
  4. Overseeing the AIBN corporate staff and fostering a collaborative, engaged, and motivated team environment.
  5. Resolving escalated business issues arising from AIBN operations.
  6. Acting as a liaison and advocate for AIBN and its branch partners within the broader Acera group.
  7. Traveling as needed to visit branch partners, insurers, or industry events.
  8. Tracking and communicating branch performance results.
  9. Facilitating collaboration and sharing best practices among branch partners and across AIBN.
  10. Performing other duties as assigned.

LOCATION AND STATUS

Full-time, permanent

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in leading, growing, and managing all aspects of a business, including people management and leadership (preferably within a matrix structure).
  • At least five years of experience in prospecting and developing new business relationships, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • University degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
