Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee our commercial projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role requires a strong ability to manage resources, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and ensure that project goals are met efficiently.

Duties:

1. Develop project plans that outline the scope, objectives, and deliverables for each project.
2. Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
3. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful completion.
4. Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
5. Gather requirements from stakeholders to ensure all needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Utilize data analysis skills to track project performance and generate reports for stakeholders.
7. Manage program management tasks to align multiple projects with organizational goals.
8. Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and WorkSafe BC.
9. Maintain clear documentation of project processes, decisions, and changes.

Skills:

1. Must be skilled at Flat Roofing techniques and roofing safety rules.
2. Strong risk management capabilities to foresee potential challenges and implement solutions.
3. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
4. Experience with program management principles to effectively oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Excellent data analysis skills for interpreting project metrics and making informed decisions.
6. Familiarity with Job Nimbus or similar project management software for tracking progress.
7. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
8. Knowledge of product management principles to align project outcomes with business objectives.
9. Ability to collect relevant data efficiently for informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Pay:

$60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Education:

AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:

Project management: 3 years (preferred), Flat Roofing: 3 years (preferred)

Terms of Employment:

Permanent employment, Full time, Starts as soon as possible
