Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills and a solid understanding of project management methodologies. This role involves overseeing bridge and water infrastructure projects from start to finish. Alberco Construction is a General Contractor focused on the Bridge and Water Infrastructure industries. Our office is located in St. Albert, Alberta. In addition to General Contracting, Alberco self-performs cast-in-place concrete. We offer a productive and collaborative family business environment. We have been completing projects in the Edmonton, Red Deer and northern Alberta areas for over 45 years. Our projects range from $10k to $150M.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
2. Estimating
3. Bringing on Subcontractors, Issuing Subcontracts
4. Budgeting, Procurement, Cost Control, Scheduling
5. In-house temporary works engineering (if applicable)
6. Monthly Reporting
7. Commissioning
8. Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

The following are required:

1. Must have current E.I.T. or P.Eng. registered with APEGA, or C.E.T. registered with ASET
2. Minimum 3 Years as a Project Manager managing similar projects (Bridges / Water)
3. Proficient in English
4. Strong technical knowledge of Civil Construction in Alberta
5. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results.
6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
7. Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and analysis for informed decision-making.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

The following will be considered an asset:

1. 5+ Years previously as a Project Coordinator or similar Role
2. Bluebeam / CAD experience
3. Client / Owner or Consultant References

Compensation

$110k to $180k per year plus profit sharing, 5% RRSP matching, Health Benefits.
