Job summary

Holmes & Brakel Limited, based in Ottawa, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee furniture and architectural wall projects from inception to completion. The role requires coordinating with clients, design teams and trade contractors on-site in Kanata, ON.

The candidate will manage schedules, budgets, and quality targets, while ensuring alignment with design intent and client expectations. 1–2 years PM experience in construction or related fields is desired.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in project management, in construction or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of or experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects varying in size and scope for Furniture and Architectural Wall.
• Manage projects from initial request to final completion, ensuring deliverables meet quality, cost and schedule targets.
• Develop and update project schedules, provide performance reports for quality, cost forecast, and scheduling.
• Ensure the project adheres to the client’s design intent while staying on budget and schedule.
• Provide technical expertise to internal team, end-users, architects/design firms and general contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Interface with internal/external project teams, client representatives, consultants, and trade contractors (Furniture installers, Electricians, AV, millwork, etc.).
• Attend site meetings to discuss product capabilities and limitations, and assist with explaining site, loading and schedule requirements.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee a wide array of Furniture and Architectural Wall projects from inception to completion.

About the Role

Location & Working Conditions

• Location: Kanata, ON
• Work location: On site, Ottawa office.
• Terms of employment: Full time, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday overtime and travel as required.
• Salary: $60,000 per year.Starts as soon as possible.
