This position will manage the construction of a new, isolated diesel power plant in a remote, fly-in-only location with significant logistical challenges. The Project Manager will ensure successful planning, execution, and completion of the project within scope, budget, and schedule while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. They will coordinate teams, manage risks, monitor progress, and maintain clear communication to deliver a reliable, fully operational plant. Other responsibilities include:*Responsibilities** Create Project Charter* RFP (Request for Proposal) & award an engineering contract for the new genset (G2)* RFP & award new genset supply* Secure consultant to prepare the YESA application* Secure consultant to provide air and noise modeling for the new genset* Secure geotechnical consultant for ground assessment and foundation design criteria* Lead YESA & Air Permit submissions* RFP & award Design-Build Specifications, T&Cs* RFP & award Design-Build Contractor.* Scheduling regular meetings with the design-build contractor, construction advisor and AEY to review action items, RFIs, progress, and cost.* Risk assessment and Management.* Resource Management* Contract/Change Management* Progress Reports*Requirements** Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction or engineering industry.* 10 years minimum of Project Management experience in both a construction and engineering industry is preferred.* Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex information.* Excellent budgeting skills with a track record of managing financial resources effectively.* Demonstrated vendor management experience to optimize supplier relationships.* Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile is preferred.* Proficient in using project management tools such as Salesforce or Basecamp.ONEC Group is an equal opportunity employer.
