Veterinary Technician Student Extern

Palmetto Veterinary Hospital has an opportunity for a Veterinary Technician Student Extern to join our team!

Location: 2443 N Hwy 17, Mt Pleasant, SC 29466

We offer Specialty Diagnostic & Therapeutic services, Internal Medicine Consults, Surgery, Dental services, & more!

Responsibilities

1. Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
2. Provide nursing care to patients.
3. Administer medications and treatments as directed.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hospital.
5. Communicate effectively with pet owners and team members.

Qualifications

1. Currently enrolled in a Veterinary Technician program.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Compassion for animals and their owners.
