Veterinary Technician, RVT

Location: North York, ON

Don Mills Animal Hospital is welcoming a full-time, dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our network of skilled veterinary professionals. While our network is large, we still offer that local community feeling, mentorship, and additional training!

Qualifications:

  • Completed a Veterinary Technician or Animal Health Technician program.
  • Technical skills or knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy.
  • Surgical preparation, assisting, and patient recovery.
  • Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records.
  • Compassionate care for hospitalized patients and their pet parents.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to ask clarifying questions to find solutions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and pet parents.
  • Passion for learning and professional growth.
