We have been in business for over 30 years. Some of our team members have been here since we opened. We are rural Ontario, smaller town feel, which has given us the ability to establish longstanding, meaningful and caring relationships with our clients and their pets. We offer x-ray, ultrasound, surgery, COHAT services on top of high quality medicine.

NVA Canada’s VT Practicum Program

NVA Canada’s VT Practicum Program offers final-year veterinary technician students the chance to gain real-world experience in a supportive, dynamic environment. Work alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs to develop your clinical skills in:

  1. Patient care
  2. Laboratory procedures
  3. Anesthesia
  4. Surgical assistance
  5. Radiology

Enhance your communication abilities with medical teams and clients, preparing you for a successful career as an RVT. Practicums range from two to eight weeks, fitting your schedule and career goals. Eligible students—those enrolled in an accredited VT program in Canada and completing their final practicum in their final year—can receive a stipend to help with travel expenses, allowing you to focus on learning without financial worries.
