NVA Canada’s VT Practicum Program offers final-year veterinary technician students the opportunity to gain real-world experience in a supportive environment. You will work alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs to develop your skills in patient care, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, surgical assistance, radiology, and more. This program helps enhance your communication abilities with medical teams and clients, preparing you for a successful career as an RVT.

Practica range from two to eight weeks, fitting your schedule and career goals. Eligible students—those enrolled in an accredited VT program in Canada and completing their final practicum—can receive a stipend to help with travel expenses, allowing you to focus on learning without financial worries.
