Job summary

National Veterinary Associates is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) for a maternity leave contract across four Ontario hospitals: Chatham-Kent, South Ridge, Blenheim, and Wallaceburg. You will join a collaborative team delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include assisting with surgeries and anesthesia, nursing care, lab work and imaging, and maintaining accurate medical records while supporting client education. Travel between locations may be required.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential.
  • Experience assisting in surgeries and monitoring anesthesia preferred.
  • Ability to work across multiple hospital locations within the four-hospital team.

We are seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team for a maternity leave contract. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative, four-hospital veterinary team committed to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with surgeries and monitor anesthesia
  • Provide nursing care to patients
  • Perform laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging
  • Conduct technician appointments and client education
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Work collaboratively within our four-hospital team. Occasional travel to support another location may be required.
  • Comprehensive benefit options are available and will be reviewed upon hire, as eligibility is determined by scheduled hours worked.

Compensation
  • $24.00–$26.00 per hour
