We are hiring for a hybrid position that combines the best of both a Veterinary Technical Assistant (VTA) / Veterinary Medical Receptionist (VMR). Come join our progressive mixed animal practice in Regina, Saskatchewan! This is a full-time, permanent position offering a 5-day work week of 40 hours. The regular schedule is Monday to Friday but flexibility to work according to clinic needs is required.

The Ideal Candidate
Our VTA / VMR must possess strong organizational skills, excellent telephone and in-person communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The daily duties comprise of the following, but they are not limited to these duties : greeting clients; differentiating routine cases from emergency cases; scheduling appointments; entering client, patient, and financial data into the computer; generating invoices and explaining them to clients; processing payments; managing the retrieval and storage of medical records; provide exceptional patient care, maintain biosecurity within the hospital, clean and maintain instruments and equipment and complete inventory tasks as needed; animal handling and husbandry; setting up for medical procedures and surgeries; and supporting veterinarians and veterinary technologists with daily treatments and care of patients.
