Veterinary Surgeon – Galway

Nestled between the rugged beauty of Connemara and the vibrant cultural heartbeat of Galway city, this warm and welcoming small animal GP practice is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a fixed-term contract. The practice is a community favourite, known for its friendly clientele, strong relationships, and dedication to exceptional pet care.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a close knit, supportive team comprising four experienced vets, four skilled veterinary nurses, and a dedicated practice manager. The clinics are modern and well-equipped, featuring digital X-ray, ultrasound, an IDEXX in-house lab suite, and plans underway for dental X-ray installation—ensuring you have the tools you need to provide outstanding clinical care.

The pace of work is relaxed and allows time for thorough case work-ups and meaningful client interactions. You'll enjoy variety in your role, managing everything from first opinion consultations and diagnostics to soft tissue surgeries and scheduled emergency care.
