Job description

You’re a great nurse, a team player, with an adventurous side who wants more out of life than back-to-back consults and an in tray full of paper work. You didn’t become a nurse to spend less time with the patient, did you?

You've thought about moving. Somewhere with snow-capped peaks, lakes like glass, and trails that start right at your doorstep. A place where the people are friendly, the air is fresh, and the work actually feels meaningful.

Welcome to Cranbrook, British Columbia. Mountains, wildlife, restaurants, gyms, cafes, good schools and community events all year round.

We are lucky to be working this long-standing, privately own practice and its hiring for growth.

  • Full-time hours, 5 days/week, with a rotating Saturday.
  • On-call shared across 6 clinics, meaning fewer sleepless nights and more balance.
  • Rarely sole charge, always solid backup.

The Clinic

Established in 1978 and still locally owned. They’ve got 5 full-time vets, 7 nurses and a stellar support team. From exotic pets to large animals, you’ll see a wild variety of cases thanks to their rural location and the nearest referral centre being 4 hours away.

This practice has a real ‘family feel,’ about it where everyone pulls together when there’s work, and relaxes when it’s time. Without the shackles of a large vet group, decisions can be made quickly and ideas are encouraged.
