Job summary

National Veterinary Associates is offering an externship at Carnegy Animal Hospital in Halifax to veterinary students in their clinical years. You will work under supervising Associate Veterinarians, gaining hands-on experience in history taking, exams, treatment planning, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery while developing client communication skills.

Externships range from two to eight weeks for 3rd and 4th year students, with a travel/living stipend available to eligible participants.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled veterinary student in clinical portion.
• Eligible for externship; 3rd or 4th year.
• Willing to travel; stipend available.
