About The Role:

The ideal Vet Assistant will counsel and educate clients, under the direction of a Veterinarian or RVT, on various aspects of animal care such as medication dosages, home care, vaccination requirements, and preventative healthcare. They will collaborate with the team to suggest and explain laboratory procedures and testing. Additionally, they will greet, handle, and treat animals in a manner that fosters a safe and secure environment. Previous work experience in a veterinary exam room is an asset.
