National Veterinary Associates (NVA) Canada is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team in Ottawa and support veterinarians in daily clinic operations. You will help with animal handling, client communication, and delivering outstanding care to pets and their owners.

Veterinary Assistant Duties

Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately during procedures.

Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.

Collect laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and feces for testing.

Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.

Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.

Monitor the health and behavior of animals in the clinic.

Veterinary Assistant Experience

Previous experience as a veterinary assistant is required
