We are a small animal (dogs and cats only) veterinary practice.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinary Assistant at Departure Bay Vet located in Nanaimo, BC. The Veterinary Assistant will be responsible for a variety of day-to-day tasks including assisting veterinarians during examinations and surgeries, providing animal and pet care, educating clients about pet care and health maintenance, and ensuring the clinic is clean and well-equipped. The role also involves customer service duties such as answering phones and scheduling appointments.
