Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures.
Safely handle patients while supporting the medical team.
Answer phones, route calls, and respond to voicemails promptly.
Make outbound calls, texts, and emails to confirm appointments and follow up on care.
Check patients in and out and maintain client/patient information.
Collect payments, process invoices, and review estimates with clients.
Educate clients on patient care, medications, and preventive care.
Collaborate with veterinarians and technicians to coordinate care plans.

What You’ll Do

Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures
Safely and compassionately handle patients while supporting the medical team
Answer phones, route calls appropriately, and respond to voicemails promptly
Make outbound calls, texts, and emails to confirm appointments and follow up on care
Check patients in and out and maintain accurate client and patient information
Collect payments, process invoices, and review estimates with clients
Communicate hospital policies, pricing, and service information clearly
Manage medical record requests, reminders, and basic administrative tasks
Help clients schedule recommended services, rechecks, and follow-up appointments
Educate clients on patient care, medications, discharge instructions, and preventive care
Collaborate with veterinarians and technicians to coordinate patient care plans and timing
Help identify scheduling needs and appropriately prioritize urgent cases
Maintain clear communication between clients and the medical team
Support an organized and efficient hospital workflow
Jump in wherever needed to support your teammates and patients

What You’ll Bring

Previous veterinary receptionist or Veterinary Assistant experience is an asset
