Job Description

• Collect samples and perform laboratory tests
• Handle, restrain, and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery
• Assist veterinarian before, during, and after surgery
• Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under veterinarian supervision
• Administer treatments as prescribed
• Perform office management and clerical duties as needed
• Provide wound and bandage care

Qualifications

• Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a 1-2 year program
• Experience: 1-2 years

Workplace Details

• Location: Edmonton, AB
• On-site work required
• Salary: $29.50 per hour for 40 hours/week
• Terms: Permanent, full-time
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Vacancies: 1
