Job description

Who we are:

Animal Medical Clinic in Sumter, South Carolina, is looking for a full-time or part-time veterinarian to join our AAHA accredited community-based practice. We are a busy multi-doctor hospital that provides quality veterinary care for dogs and cats. Our clinic is equipped with diagnostic features including digital x-rays and an in-house lab along with a visiting surgeon for orthopedic surgeries. We focus on helping any pet that we can. Our staff is like a family, and we work together to provide the best care possible to our patients.

We take great pride in our community connections, such as supporting our local Humane Society (SPCA) by volunteering and performing over 5000 surgical procedures on their behalf. Experienced veterinarians and new graduates alike are encouraged to apply.

Sumter, South Carolina, is a wonderful place to live and work. Nestled between Myrtle Beach and the mountains, Sumter boasts the stunning well-kept Swan Lake Iris Gardens as one of their biggest attractions. Along with the beauty of the natural environment, there are many cultural activities to occupy yourself with here, such as the town’s opera house and art gallery. Whatever your preference or passion, Sumter has a little bit of something to offer everyone!

We offer a generous salary, 401(k), medical benefits, CE allowance, professional dues, and liability coverage. In addition, we also support employee well-being with medical benefits (including health, dental, and vision), vacation, employee assistance program (EAP), growth opportunities, and so much more.

We are so proud of our practice and would love to tell you about our community-based approach to veterinary care.
