Amberlea Animal Hospital in Pickering, ON seeks a Veterinarian (DVM) for part-time work (about 17 hours/week). Ideal candidates have 3–7 years’ experience, proficiency in surgical and dental procedures, and the ability to handle emergencies and complex cases independently. Ontario General Veterinary License eligibility is required.

We offer base + production, licensing dues, liability insurance, VIN, PTO, flexible scheduling, and mentorship.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of veterinary experience.
• Proficiency in surgical and dental procedures.
• Ability to make independent decisions and manage emergencies.
• Must hold or be eligible for a full General Veterinary License in Ontario.

Responsibilities

Is This Role Right For You?

Our ideal Veterinarian (DVM) will have 3–7 years of experience and demonstrate a high standard of medical expertise, including proficiency in surgical and dental procedures. They will be confident in making independent decisions, managing complex cases, and responding to emergencies. Primarily responsible for clinical care, the DVM will leverage their medical knowledge, teamwork, and emotional intelligence to deliver exceptional veterinary medicine and leadership for the team. We are looking for a DVM that can work at a part-time capacity (approximately 17 hours per week).

We will only consider candidates who hold or are eligible to hold a full General Veterinary License in Ontario at the time of their application.
