Job summary

Amberlea Animal Hospital in Pickering, ON seeks a Veterinarian (DVM) to join a collaborative team. The role features approximately 17 hours per week with a focus on clinical care, surgery and dentistry, and leadership within the team.

Ideal candidates hold or are eligible for a full General Veterinary License in Ontario and bring 3–7 years of experience. We offer a supportive environment with flexible schedules and strong work‑life balance commitments.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in veterinary medicine.
• Proficiency in surgical and dental procedures.
• Full General Veterinary License in Ontario or eligibility to obtain it.
• Ability to make independent clinical decisions and manage complex cases.
• Comfort responding to emergencies and coordinating team care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical veterinary care and case management.
• Perform surgical and dental procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with RVTs and staff to deliver high‑quality care.
