Qualifications

• DVM from an accredited veterinary program.
• Eligible for veterinary licensure in New Brunswick.
• Strong interest in emergency medicine and high-quality patient care.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Collaborative approach with a strong commitment to teamwork.
• Previous emergency veterinary experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency veterinary care and medical treatment to a diverse range of patients.
• Assess patients, perform examinations, develop treatment plans, and make informed medical decisions.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and patient care.
• Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians, support staff, and fellow veterinarians to deliver exceptional patient care.
