An established industry player is seeking a Version Rollout Manager to lead software version management from development to production. The Business Banking Operations Department supports core application systems for large businesses and specialized application systems for medium and large businesses. We operate in critical (24/7) technological environments and apply the necessary discipline and ITIL practices required for this type of work. We handle operational support, patches and updates for solutions under our responsibility. This involves software packages, along with focused development, primarily in Java. As a Version Rollout Manager, you’re in charge of planning, programming and managing software versions from development to production, including test phases. You play a key role in a DevOps organization by ensuring applications and services are available and reliable. Although release is the final stage in the software development life cycle (data life cycle), release management begins at the planning stage. Each step, including design, implementation, testing and deployment, is essential and follows specific rules. Your role is to supervise and coordinate contributors and ensure availability of IT platforms for deliverables. You plan, prioritize and coordinate work. You ensure the quality of deliverables and team performance and engagement. You are known as a leader and for being rigorous with regard to deliverables.
Coordinate and facilitate communication: Coordinate teams, manage internal and external dependencies and facilitate communication with stakeholders, in collaboration with the Product Manager.
Monitor and eliminate obstacles: Monitor development progress, identify and eliminate obstacles, and escalate barriers to stakeholders for resolution.
Ensure continuous improvement and provide coaching: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encourage best practices for continuous integration and DevOps, and coach teams and management in ITIL delivery practices.
Manage risks: Identify, assess and manage risks and help teams make informed decisions.
Help deliver value: Help teams deliver value by enabling them to prepare and execute deliveries and by supporting the current change enablement process.

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of six years of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
ITIL certification
Knowledge of French is required
Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
Expertise in Jira and Confluence
Expertise in ServiceNow
