Versatile General Maintenance Worker - Evening shift

Job Details

Location: Candiac site (injectable products)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm to 12:00 am (midnight)

Responsibilities

• Implement new operating methods to increase building maintenance and housekeeping efficiency.
• Perform various repair and maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plastering, silicone jointing, drilling, and repairs to doors and walls.
• Maintain indoor and outdoor building areas.
• Carry out cleaning duties in production facilities and exterior building areas.
• Check fire extinguishers and first aid kits periodically.
• Assist with tasks like door and furniture repairs, and support housekeeping staff.
• Participate in inspections, including insect and animal scouting.
• Manually clear snow from emergency exits and entrances.
• Perform other related maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge of various repair and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail and analysis.
• Qualified to dress in blue for sterile environment access.
