THE ROLE:

We are seeking an adaptive, self-motivated design verification engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor, you will help enhance AMD's capabilities in delivering high-quality, industry-leading technologies. Our Verification Engineering team fosters continuous technical innovation and career development.

THE PERSON:

You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification. You are a team player with excellent communication skills, experienced in collaborating across different sites and time zones. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are eager to learn and tackle complex problems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain verification components for IP and multi-IP subsystem functional verification.
• Enhance simulation and verification infrastructure and methodologies.
• Participate in initiatives to optimize flows and processes, utilizing AI tools.
• Provide technical support to other teams.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Familiarity with SystemVerilog and modern verification methodologies like UVM, OVM, or VMM.
• Experience with ML concepts and AI tools for engineering problems.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong programming and scripting skills.
• High-speed communication protocols (PCIe, Ethernet, SATA) are a plus.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
