Job summary

Echelon Insurance is seeking a Vendor Quality Assurance Specialist to join the Claims team. You will conduct operational reviews of claims files to ensure alignment with best practices and compliance, while focusing on customer experience through quality assessments.

The role requires 3-5 years in P&C, experience with vendor performance and workflow processes, and strong data analytics. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and ongoing process improvements are expected.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Property and Casualty insurance.
• Experience with file review and performance reporting, with knowledge of Claims Monitor.
• Experience with third-party suppliers, assessing vendor performance, SLAs, and contracts.
• Experience creating and managing workflow processes with strong data analytics skills.
• Understanding regulatory compliance and claims workflows and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Document and report on compliance adherence and update process documents.
• Focus on customer experience through call quality reviews.
• Adhere to reporting requirements related to regulatory and internal compliance matters.
• Maintain documentation to coordinate department workflows and audits.
• Support QA Specialists in achieving QA goals.

Position Details

Reporting to the Unit Manager, Quality Assurance, the Vendor Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for the completion of operational reviews of claims files focusing on adherence to best practices and compliance.

What You Will Do

• Document and report on compliance adherence and update process and procedure documents.
• Focus on customer experience through call quality reviews.
• Adhere to reporting requirements related to regulatory and internal compliance matters.
• Maintain documentation to coordinate department level workflows, audit processes, and associated compliance.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and changes to ensure Echelon is prepared to respond in a manner consistent with our vision and values.
• Support Senior Quality Assurance Specialists in delivering on the quality assurance goals.
• Champion change and continuous improvement, thinking creatively to identify issues and resolve challenges within the Claims Department.
• Participate in special projects, targeted reviews, assignments, and other duties as assigned.

The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. Who You Are

• 3-5 years of experience in Property and Casualty insurance industry.
• Prior experience with file review and performance reporting with knowledge of Claims Monitor.
• Experience with third‑party suppliers, assessing vendor performance, compliance, service level agreements, and contract obligations.
• Experienced in creation and management of workflow processes with strong data analytics skills.
• Strong understanding of the regulatory compliance and claims workflows and procedures.
• Post‑secondary education in Insurance Management, Business Administration, related field, or industry experience is preferred.
• CIP / FCIP designation or working towards completion is preferred.
