What can you expect?
The Vehicle Mechanic II is in a visible role and provides an outstanding experience for guests via the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of the powered equipment fleet e.g., snowcats, snowmobiles, light passenger and commercial vehicles, off-road vehicles, heavy equipment, generators, buses. Mechanic II’s are focused on safety, efficiency, and being approachable and courteous while assisting senior Mechanics with inspections and repair duties. The Vehicle Mechanic II reports to the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor or designate and works under the guidance of other senior personnel in Maintenance. They liaise frequently with most operations departments.
Assisting in all maintenance duties e.g., test, troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul, repair, service, while always maintaining and contributing to a safe and efficient work site e.g., operating equipment, inspections, disassembly, assembly, and cleaning of equipment and worksites.
Administrative and Reporting Responsibilities:
