Job summary

401 Dixie Hyundai in Mississauga, ON, is seeking a Vehicle Logistics Coordinator to manage the flow and inventory of vehicles from arrival to sale. You will track shipments, oversee offloading and inspections, coordinate PDIs with the service department, and organize transport for trades and deliveries.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles. Onsite work with competitive pay and benefits is offered.

Responsibilities

• Transporting customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Daily organization and parking of vehicles for sale and service.
• Remove protective coverings and ID tags before returning vehicles to customers.
• Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damages and report issues.
• Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks.
• Pick up parts from the Parts Department and assist with shop cleanup.
• Detail interior and exterior of customer vehicles.
• Ensure showroom displays are clean and vehicles are presentation-ready.
• Deliver dealer trades to nearby stores and drive customers home when required.

Your area of focus.

A Vehicle Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in assisting with the flow and inventory of cars at a dealership, ensuring every vehicle moves seamlessly from transport arrival to the customer. They track incoming shipments from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) or auctions, oversee offloading and initial inspections, and coordinate with the service department for pre‑delivery inspections (PDIs) and detailing. By maintaining precise lot management, tracking keys and stock numbers in the dealership inventory system, and organizing transport for dealer trades or retail deliveries, they keep operations running efficiently and ensure vehicles are pristine and ready for sale.

What drives your day‑to‑day?

• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Daily Organization and parking of vehicles for saleand service department
• Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer
• Inspect vehicles for stains,debrisand damages before returning the vehicle to the customer, and report any damageimmediately
• Assistwith service write‑ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks
• Pick up parts from the Parts Department
• Assistwith shop clean‑up and deliveries when needed
• Cleaning off vehicle exteriors based on seasonal needs (i.e.snow removal)
• Identifyany lot merchandising needs or issues to theappropriate manager
• Placing signage in and on vehiclesfor advertising purposes
• Monitoring and organizing vehicles daily based on their progress in the reconditioning process
• Lot tidiness (garbage clearing,etc)
• Responsible for the detailing of interior and exterior of customer vehicles
• Perform general car detailing activities, including, vacuuming, deodorizing, and washing
• Ensure the exterior of cars are clean and smudge free, including showroom displays
• Deliver dealer trades to neighboring stores and drive customers home as necessary

What are the must‑haves…

• High school diploma or GED
• Interest in automotive industry, and knowledgeable about vehicles
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Experience working with cleaning products and cleaning tools including power washers is an asset
• Must be dependable, reliable,possessa strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively

Compensation

The expected range of compensation for this position is $20 – $23 Hourly. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors, including job‑related knowledge, education, skills and experience. This position will also be eligible to participate in the Company’s bonus program for this role, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents.
