Job summary

Clutch is seeking a Vehicle Inspector to join our vehicle operations team in Nova Scotia. You will inspect incoming vehicles, document condition, and coordinate with internal teams to maintain workflow.

We require a valid Class 5 license and ability to drive automatic vehicles. The role is 40 hours/week with overtime, and offers wage of $18.25/hour plus health and dental benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons.
• Basic knowledge of cars or willingness to learn.
• Minimum Valid Class 5 License with a clean abstract.
• Able to drive automatic vehicles; manual is a plus.
• Comfortable using tablets or basic computer software.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to pitch in where needed.
• Able to commit to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming vehicles for damage, cleanliness, and mechanical issues.
• Identify and report problems that fall outside Clutch’s quality standards.
• Move, start, and park cars around the lot safely and efficiently.
• Track inspection results using checklists and digital tools.
• Collaborate with reconditioning, detailing, and mechanical teams to prioritize vehicle flow.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for minor vehicle issues.
• Keep work areas organized and follow all safety procedures.

About the Role
