The primary responsibility of an Inspector is to conduct comprehensive inspections of assigned vehicles and generate accurate Condition Reports (CR). Vehicles are typically located at dealerships but may also be inspected at our facilities. This role requires travel, keen attention to detail, and strong relationship-building skills. Additional job-related activities may be performed as needed to support the business.

This is a part-time position with compensation of $19.00/hour, $4.00 per vehicle inspected, and mileage reimbursement.

Schedule: Up to 28 hours per week, Monday-Friday

What You Will Do

• Conduct vehicle inspections at various locations including dealerships, auctions, and off-site sites.
• Identify, assess, and document structural damage, frame condition, paintwork, alignment, missing parts, and mechanical issues.
• Follow training and industry best practices, adhering to provided work instructions and procedures.
• Build strong customer relationships through regular interactions.
• Ensure high accuracy to minimize disputes.
• Follow safety and health procedures.
• Locate, start, and move vehicles if directed.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

• Must be at least 21 years old, have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ experience in the automotive industry preferred.
• Problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles.
• Knowledge of web-based applications and inspection tools preferred.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to provide excellent customer service.
